The honest summary
This website does not store the data from the contact form in any database: it becomes an email to our team. We keep an aggregated, anonymous count of site visits and the conversion funnel — with no visitor identification, no IP address stored, and no tracking cookie — that works for everyone, with no permission required. On top of that, with your explicit permission (a popup, before any cookie is set), we offer an anonymous identifier that correlates your actions across different visits. We use no third-party cookies, there is no advertising tracking, no remarketing.
What data we collect
From the contact form: name, work email, company, job title, phone (optional), company size and the description of what you need to solve. We also record the page you came from, so we know which content brought the enquiry.
An aggregated and anonymous count of site visits, available to every visitor regardless of any choice: the page visited, the date and hour (rounded to the hour, not the exact moment), language, country (derived from a network header — the IP address itself is not stored), operating system and browser (from what the browser itself reports), the referring domain you came from (e.g. "google.com", never the full link), and, when present, the campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) of the link you followed. None of this is tied to you in this count: two visits from the same person are not recognised as the same person — what exists is a count of visits per page, not a record of who visited.
If you accept the consent popup shown on your first visit, we also set an opaque identifier (a random code, with no personal data inside it) in a cookie on your browser. This identifier lets us recognise that the same person visited the site more than once, and associate the pages you viewed, up to an eventual contact or download, with that same identifier — this is what we call tracking. If you fill in the contact or download form afterwards, this identifier travels along with the email we send to our commercial team, to give them context on your browsing before the contact.
This count, with or without the identifier, only registers visitors whose browser runs JavaScript — it is not a complete measurement of all traffic.
What we use it for
The contact form: exclusively to answer your enquiry and to carry on the commercial conversation it started. We do not sell it, assign it or share it with third parties.
The aggregated visit count: to understand which pages generate more contacts and downloads, and at which point of the funnel (visit → pricing/packages → contact/downloads → completed download) people drop off. This is a purpose distinct from the form's, based on our legitimate interest in improving the site — not on consent, since there is no one to ask consent from when the count does not identify anyone.
The visitor identifier (only when you accept it): to understand the journey of the same person across different pages and visits, and to give our commercial team browsing context for whoever reaches a contact or download. This is its own purpose, separate from the two above, and based on your consent — not on legitimate interest.
How long we keep it
The contact form data exists as an email in our mailbox. You may request its deletion at any time, and we carry it out within 15 days.
The aggregated visit count has no declared deletion deadline because there is, at no point, an individual record: every event already arrives as an increment to a counter aggregated by hour/page/country/OS/browser — there is no raw personal data to delete after a deadline.
The visitor identifier, and the events recorded with it, are kept for up to 24 months from your last visit — after that, the cookie expires on its own in your browser. Withdrawing consent (see "Your rights") deletes the cookie and stops the tracking before that deadline.
Your rights
- Confirm whether we process any data about you, and access it.
- Correct incomplete or outdated data.
- Request anonymisation, blocking or erasure.
- Withdraw your consent at any time — this applies to the form and, now, also to the visitor identifier: clicking "Decline" on the popup, or deleting the cookie through your browser, stops the tracking.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (applies to the aggregated visit count, which does not rely on consent).
To exercise any of these, write to [email protected].
Cookies
Two cookies are strictly necessary and do not depend on the popup: nexaorch_dl, which unlocks the installation package download after you fill in the form on the downloads page (so you are not asked for the same data again on every click within the same session) and expires within a few hours; and nexaorch_consentimento, which stores your choice on the popup (accept or decline), so we do not ask again on every visit, and lasts up to 24 months. Neither carries a name, email, or any other personal data.
A third cookie, nexaorch_visitante, is only set if you accept the consent popup: it is the opaque identifier described above, and lasts up to 24 months. Declining the popup, or never interacting with it, means this cookie is never set.
There is no advertising or third-party cookie: none of the three cookies is read by another site, and we do not do remarketing.
About the product installed at your company
This policy covers this website only. NexaOrch installed on your infrastructure sends us no data at all — there is no telemetry and no “phoning home”. The data it processes is yours and stays in your environment.
